Someday I hope to try small arrangements such as this. (I see that you say it was already "arranged")
I would call it a Still Life but I like mise en scène much better. So if I upload some of my own little arrangements I will have a Gallery Folder labelled Mise en Scène, just to fuck people up.

btw my automatic Spellchecker is trying to change "scène" to "scone". wtf... Mise en Scone

I see the date on the letter is 1985, but the glasses on TOP of the letter were in fashion in the 1950s or perhaps 60s at the latest. hmmmmmm, very mysterious indeed.

I think that a home made "mise en scène" is pleasant to shoot and share.
In urban exploration, it is often the explorers who made the "mises en scène". I do not like that. But anyway, I take the opportunity to make my photos. It's paradoxical.

Love this... love the letters contents magnified through the glasses. There is sort of a metaphoric content here, I think. It would be interesting to hear what various viewers thought it "meant," if considered in a metaphoric way. I also really like the colors.
